WordWhat it means
Bonding curveA formula that prices a token against how much of it has sold. Every token sold costs more than the one before it, and the contract is the only counterparty. The curve.
Sold outThe curve's 750,000,000 tokens are gone. Trading pauses for about a minute while the pool opens itself, on a Shards pool or a Rhea pool.
GraduatedThe curve is finished and the token trades in its pool, with the liquidity locked there: inside the same contract on a Shards pool, on Rhea on a Rhea pool. Graduation.
PrismThe pool inside a Shards coin: the coin's own contract is the token and its market at once, and the liquidity in it cannot be taken out. Every trade in it pays the coin's tax through the split. Prism.
Shards poolWhere a token graduates if its creator picked it: its own pool inside the token's contract, on Shards, called Prism. Any pair, a tax up to 10% a side, 0.5 NEAR to create. Fixed when the token is made. Shards pool or Rhea pool.
Rhea poolWhere a token graduates if its creator picked it: a new pool on Rhea, NEAR's largest exchange, with the liquidity locked there. Takes any pair. A tax up to 4% a side, 1.25 NEAR to create. Fixed when the token is made. Shards pool or Rhea pool.
The poolThe 250,000,000 tokens held back at launch plus everything the curve raised: 2,000 NEAR on a NEAR coin, a fixed amount of its pair on any other. Nobody can withdraw its principal, on a Shards pool or a Rhea pool.
PairWhat a token trades against, chosen at creation and fixed for life: NEAR, SHARDS, RHEA, Zcash, Quantus or an Ondo stock, ETF, metal or bond fund. Its price, pool and dividends are all in the pair.
RHEARhea Finance's own token, and a pair since v2.5. A RHEA coin is paid for in RHEA or in NEAR (swapped to RHEA on Rhea's exchange first), and pays out in either.
TaxA percentage of every trade, chosen by the creator at launch and charged on the pair's side (NEAR, on a NEAR coin). 1% to 10% on each side on the create screen, up to 4% on a Rhea pool, and it can never be changed (a token made before 6 October 2026, 16:14 UTC: once that moment passes, what is fixed).
The splitHow the tax is divided: 20% to the platform (on tokens launched since pairs arrived, half of that buys and burns SHARDS, half goes to the treasury), and the creator's four shares out of the other 80%. Where the tax goes.
DividendsThe holders' share of the tax, paid in the token's pair (NEAR unless the token was created with another) in proportion to your balance. Not yield, not interest — it stops when trading stops.
Buyback and burnPart of the tax buys the token back and destroys what it buys, so the supply only ever falls. On a token made since v2.5, each trade does it at once; on an older token, it starts once its pool is open.
CreditWhat the contract owes you until you ask for it. A sale credits you and collects it in the same approval. Getting paid.
TakeoverRe-pointing a token's future creator fees to a new wallet after its creator goes quiet. It reaches nothing else. Community takeover.
Price impactHow far your own order moves the price while it fills. A large order pays the average of every slice, not the price it started at.
Slippage toleranceThe worst result you will accept. If the trade would come out worse than that, it is refused instead of filled.
Storage deposit0.005 NEAR the chain charges to keep a record of your balance in a token you have never held. Not ours, and it comes back when the record closes.
Market capThe whole supply at the current price. A number on paper, not money anyone holds.
